Introducing a day retreat for the whole family, with an intention to honor the diversity and wisdom of the whole human family. In this hands-on experience, we'll share our appreciation for different cultures and people of the world by introducing you to special areas here at True Nature Holistic Retreats. We'll have learning/playing moments at the pond (fish, turtles, tadpoles, birds...) a visit to our garden of unique heirloom vegetables and flowers, a scavenger hunt, and story time featuring wise authors and talented artists who we have grown to love.
Our 20' Sioux-style tipi is a fascinating traditional structure to enter, play in and learn about. You'll learn some simple meditative practices, and you'll have the opportunity to climb aboard our very unique rocket ship - a retired wind turbine built by NASA and The Department of Energy in 1975. We will close the day with a wood-fired pizza dinner cooked in our outdoor domed oven made of earth, a traditional style used by people around the world.
Cost: $65 per person for the day (Includes lunch, snacks, drinks and activities for kids and adults)
Best ages: 4-8 years-old (Contact us if you have a younger or older child who would like to come.)
Overnight option: Stay over on August 6th and lodge in the The Green Suite, Moon Swallow Tipi, Pond Cabin, Heart Studio or Camp. Kids lodge free. Contact us for rates.

1:30 p.m. Arrival (Getting Settled, Cold Drinks, and Circle Time)
2:00 p.m. Scavenger Hunt w/Tour (for Adults and Kids)
2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Kids: Games (including Water Balloons) and Story Time, etc.
Adults: Meditation w/Self-Breema
3:30 p.m. Ice Cream Break
4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Kids: Art + Playtime
Adults: Gentle Yoga w/Meditation
5:00 - 5:30 p.m. Dough Making
