Lodging in The House
The upstairs bedroom (photos above) windows look out into the woods and across a quiet country road. A skylight on one side of the room lets the sun and moonlight in, and is great for cloud-watching. Meditation cushions are available to take into the room to support your individual practice time, and you are welcome to use the classroom during breaks in your itinerary. The classroom is on the same level of the house as this bedroom.
The upstairs bedroom has a small table and a selection of books with a spiritual/uplifting emphasis. There is a queen-sized bed with a memory foam topper to help ensure a good night’s rest. Linens and towels are included, but we ask that you please bring your own toiletries. This level of the house also includes a newly-remodeled bathroom, highlighted by a hydrotherapy shower enclosure - complete with a seat, an overhead rainshower, handheld massage shower and eight acupuncture hydro-jets in the back wall. There is also a tea room between the bedroom and classroom. In addition to a wide selection of high quality teas, you'll also find comfy places to sit and a second selection of books. Two more skylights enliven the tea room's atmosphere. We appreciate the aliveness of handmade, fair-trade rugs, so you’ll meet some of those while you’re here too, along with original artwork. Think of this as your holistic bed and breakfast.
For our group retreats or when you bring a group of your own friends, we also have other bedrooms on the lower level of the house. Up to 7 guests can stay in the house, and each of the rooms is carefully decorated with hand-knotted oriental rugs, unique clay paints and original artwork. Queen and twin beds feature memory foam mattress toppers and one queen bed on this level is a memory foam mattress. Your comfort is important to us. Pictured in the slide show below are two of the downstairs bedroom, hydrotherapy shower and our tea room.
