Yoga Classes
Ongoing Group Classes are held on:

Wednesdays: 11:00 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. (Starting 9/12/12)
Cost: $10 per person
Private Classes: $35/75 minutes for 1-3 students and $10 for each additional student. Scheduled by appointment.
Enjoy the benefits of yoga with Alana in our “big room” surrounded by windows looking out into the woods. All yoga classes begin with simple mind-body centering exercises, include physical postures (asanas) adapted to meet your needs, gentle somatic exercises, and end with guided meditation to promote deep relaxation. Discover unseen tension that drains your energy. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Alana has studied with a wide variety of teachers, including Tias Little, Mike Curtis and Marcia Miller.
Self-Breema Class - 50 minutes
Private Classes: $35 for 1-3 students and $10 for each additional student.
Practicing Self-Breema helps us to move in harmony with the natural laws that govern life and health. Doing so, we increase our vital energy in any given moment and expand our receptivity to do what is most beneficial for our lives. Self-Breema exercises are not for muscles, bones and joints. They are to help us discover who we really are. Like Breema bodywork, Self-Breema is a unifying method. Body, mind and feelings come into harmony in a common activity. Many and varied, the exercises include gentle stretches, rhythmic movements, and new postures to help create new possibilities in thought, movement and feeling.
Delicious and Mostly Organic Meals
$1o Breakfast and $15 Lunch/Dinner
Meals at True Nature are real food for mind, body and heart. We use mostly organic ingredients and locally grown produce whenever possible. (See sample menus) We know from our own experience that vital, fresh and whole foods taste great and enliven us from the inside out. The breakfast at the left is a delightful blend of hot buckwheat cereal, maple syrup, raw honey, almonds, fresh blueberries and a sprinkle of cinnamon. .
Meditative Guidance:
Both Alana and Dave have practiced meditation for many years under the guidance of a variety of teachers. The support we offer and the meditation we know is simple and easy to start working with. For beginners, once we have showed you the form and helped you to get comfortable with the posture, we will let you spend some time in seated meditation by yourself. We can also teach ways of doing walking meditation that may even be adapted to walks along the country roads. Allowing yourself to just be in your retreat by bringing the mind and body together, and gently returning to that aim is a great gift to yourself.
Breema Bodywork Treatments
$70/60 min. and $40/30 min.
Breema bodywork sequences use a wide variety of rhythmic movements, gentle stretches, and fully-supported postures which are comfortable and enjoyable for the practitioner as well as the recipient. This approach comes from a deep understanding of the unity of all life, and is expressed in practical terms by Breema's Nine Principles of Harmony. The principles help the practitioner become balanced and to conserve energy which is usually lost to physical, mental and emotional tension. They create an atmosphere of real acceptance in which the recipient can most deeply be nurtured. Read more about Breema at Dave’s website www.breemajoy.com or at www.breema.com
Classes for 2 to 25 - Call for details
Breema: The Art of Being Present is a Teaching of the heart that includes the Nine Principles of harmony, floor-based Breema bodywork and the dynamic Self-Breema exercises. In these classes, you’ll learn Self-Breema exercises and multiple sequences of bodywork, all guided by these universal principles.
It is such a joy to share this work with anyone who is receptive, who has a wish to be simple and natural. This gives instructors and practitioners a lot of energy to teach and give treatments. Breema helps us find a greater sense of well-being, harmony, and interest in life. Isn’t this what we all wish for? Read more about Breema.
